Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, and C-arm procedures at our Wisconsin facility. You will explain procedures, collect histories, position patients, and ensure high-quality imaging with strict safety standards.

Responsibilities include labeling and processing images, billing documentation, and collaborating with physicians. Requirements include ARRT RT registration, state radiographer license, and BLS certification to be obtained

Qualifications

  • Advanced training beyond high school including completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Radiographer license issued by the state where practice occurs.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration with ARRT.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (must be obtained within 6 months unless exempt).
  • No experience required.
  • Competency in radiology positioning and techniques.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety, anatomy, and radiology equipment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic to advanced radiologic procedures (diagnostic, fluoroscopy, C-arm).
  • Explain procedures to patients and obtain histories; answer questions.
  • Position patients, select exposure factors; ensure safety.
  • Identify patients, label images, process and bill correctly.
  • Assist and consult with physicians; may work outside department.
  • Maintain regulatory records and enter data into RIS.
  • Document billing codes for charges.
  • Serve as a resource/preceptor for students and staff.
  • Support accreditation efforts across the facility/system.
  • Perform patient positioning and transportation with lifting/pulling.
