Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
• ARRT Radiography certification required within 6 months of hire.
• CPR – American Heart Association required.
• Act 34/Act 33/Act 73/Act FBI background clearances required.
• HIPAA/privacy compliance awareness and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures with independence.
• Analyzes results and resolves image quality issues, including repositioning when needed.
• Reviews patient history and educates patient regarding procedures and exam.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications as ordered; monitors patient condition.
• Maintains equipment safety, quality control and reports malfunctions.
