Job summary

New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire and must complete steps for advancing to level 2 within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program Radiologic Technology (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree-Related Field (Preferred).
• ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire.
• Advancement to level 2 within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensures correct order, patient identification, preparation, and documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
• Uses imaging protocols to optimize safety and ALARA principles.
• Assists with administration of medications through vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluates images for quality and ensures data transfer and archival integrity.
• Educates and monitors students and other health care providers.
• Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and radiologic procedures.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic and noninterpretive fluoroscopic procedures as prescribed.
