Job summary

Geisinger is seeking Radiologic Technologists to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to ALARA principles. You will prepare patients, verify histories, and document activities in compliance with policies.

New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, and you may assist in operating room, ICU, Endoscopy, and other settings as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program – Radiologic Technology.
• Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field (Preferred).
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures following ALARA and safety protocols.
• Identify patient, verify clinical history, and document appropriately.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic procedures and other radiologic duties.
• Evaluate images for proper positioning and quality; manage data/archival storage.
• Educate and monitor students and other health care providers.
• Work across departments including OR, ICU, Endoscopy as needed.
