Qualifications

• ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire.
• Advancement to level 2 within 24 months for hires after 2024.

Responsibilities

• Obtains proper patient identification and prep for exams, documenting clinical history.
• Applies imaging protocols and ALARA principles to maximize safety and image quality.
• Prepares and administers medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Evaluates images for positioning and quality, and manages data transfer.
• Educates and monitors students and other health care providers.
• Assists licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiologic procedures.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic and noninterpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including in OR, ICU, etc.
