Job summary

HCA HealthONE Centennial is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform radiographic exams under radiologist supervision. You will assist in emergency and outpatient settings, following protocols for all ages and maintaining high-quality imaging.

The role requires AMA-approved program completion, ARRT certification, BLS, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 2 years acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
• Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Under the supervision of a Radiologist, perform x-ray therapy on patients and explain procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
• Serve patients in our emergency department, hospital, and outpatient services.
• Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.
• Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results.
