Job summary

HCA HealthONE Centennial is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department. You will operate x-ray equipment to capture radiographs and work under a Radiologist, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns.

You will serve patients in the emergency department, hospital, and outpatient settings, following age-based protocols from neonate to geriatric, while maintaining high technical and patient-care standards to deliver accurate diagnostic

Qualifications

AMA approved Radiology Technology training program completed with ARRT certification.
Maintain ARRT registry with continuing education.
BLS certification required.
Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform patient-care tasks.
Prefer 2 years of recent acute care experience.
ARRT-R Radiography.
Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
Under the supervision of a Radiologist, perform x-ray procedures and explain them to patients.
Serve patients in the emergency department, hospital, and outpatient settings.
Perform procedures per established protocols for ages neonate through geriatric.
Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results.
