Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department. You will operate x-ray equipment and perform procedures under Radiologist supervision for diverse patients across ED, hospital, and outpatient settings.

The role requires ARRT certification, ongoing CE, BLS, and strong critical thinking. Physical stamina to assist patients and equipment is essential, with a preference for 2 years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
• Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Under the supervision of a Radiologist, perform x-ray procedures and explain them to patients.
