Job summary

HCA HealthONE is seeking a weekend Radiology Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and produce diagnostic images under Radiologist supervision. You will explain procedures, address patient concerns, and cover ED, inpatient, and outpatient needs across age groups from neonate to geriatric.

Responsibilities include performing procedures per protocol, maintaining skills, and delivering high-quality results. ARRT certification and BLS are required, with ongoing CE and a focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires AMA approved Radiology Technology training program and ARRT certification.
• Maintain ARRT registry via continuing education to keep skills current.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required.
• Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts.
• Under Radiologist supervision, perform x-ray therapy and explain procedures to patients.
• Serve ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations as needed.
• Follow established protocols for patients from neonate to geriatric.
• Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills to deliver quality diagnostic results.
