Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners, interpret instructions, and prepare contrast materials for patients from newborn to late adulthood. You will position patients, adjust exposure factors, and ensure accurate image capture while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Required ARRT CT certification, ARRT RT CT, CE compliance, current BLS, and 1 year diagnostic experience; associate degree or AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program graduate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - Certified by ARRT.
• ARRT(RT)(CT) REQUIRED and CE compliance & Current BLS certification required.
• 1 year diagnostic experience required. CT experience preferred.
• Solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.
• Interpret scanning instructions and prepare contrast materials.
• Position patients and operate CT equipment to capture appropriate images.
• Communicate and work independently across age groups from newborn to late adulthood.
• Ensure safety and proper exposure factors during procedures
