Job summary

BayCare Winter Haven is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a part-time, below-hours role at Diagnostic Imaging-WHH. You will perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and support OR/ED imaging, with RIS data management and patient transport duties.

Required credentials include a Florida Radiology license, ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) registry or eligibility, and BLS; education should be in Radiology (Technical Radiology or an Associate in Radiology).

Qualifications

• Radiology technologist degree or AS in Radiology required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Supports operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Manages RIS data, file room, general clerical tasks, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Other related imaging duties as assigned.

Responsibilities - Radiology Technologist:

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Other related duties necessary.

Education:

• Required - Technical - Radiology
• Or - Associates - Radiology

Credentials:

• Required - BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Required - Radiology License - State of Florida
• Required - ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Relevant Specialty
• Or - ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible or within 6 months
