Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven, FL seeks a Radiology Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team in the Radiology Technologist Pool. The role supports imaging services across the hospital, with occasional shift variations and on-call duties.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, maintaining RIS data, and delivering compassionate patient care with strong service skills; Florida licensure/ARRT eligibility and BLS required.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ARRT registry eligible or ARRT within 6 months.
• Radiology – State of Florida license.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) or Associates Degree in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities :

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.
• Preferred 1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
