Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist for outpatient imaging in Land O' Lakes, FL. This PRN role supports diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy, with responsibilities spanning RIS data management and patient care in a dynamic imaging department.

The position requires ARRT eligibility or certification within 6 months, Florida licensure, and a radiology-focused degree. Shift hours are variable, with duties supporting OR and ED imaging services.

Qualifications

• ARRT registry eligible or ARRT registered within 6 months.
• Florida radiology license required.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) or Associate degree in Radiology required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures.
• Supports operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for RIS data management and related clerical tasks.
• Patient transportation and general support within imaging department.

Summary: Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties necessary.

Radiology Technologist - Outpatient Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.
• Preferred 1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI

Requirements:

• AART (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR - ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology - State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree - Radiology
