BayCare Health System seeks an Outpatient CT Technologist at Axelrod Pavilion on the Morton Plant Hospital campus in Clearwater, FL. The role focuses on diagnostic CT procedures and compassionate patient service within a busy imaging center environment.

The position requires BLS, ARRT Radiologic Technologist with Florida license, and 1 year CT or radiology experience. BayCare offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• BLS required.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist - relevant specialty.
• Radiology license in Florida.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) or AS/AA in Radiology.
• 1 year CT Technologist experience or 1 year Radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic CT procedures.
• Manages imaging patient care, RIS data, and file room duties.
• Assists physicians and transports patients as needed.
• Demonstrates clinical skills and customer service.
• Maintains time management, critical thinking, and communication.
• Exhibits computer skills relevant to the position.

Shift Hours: Friday , Saturday, Sunday 3/12 hour shifts

CT Technologist – Outpatient Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist - Outpatient performs diagnostic CT procedures.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
• Have clinical skills appropriate to position.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Relevant Specialty
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
• 1 year CT Technologist; OR 1 year Radiology experience
