Job summary

BayCare Health System in Land O' Lakes, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist-Outpt to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and to support operating room and emergency department imaging services. The role requires BLS and Florida radiology licensure, ARRT eligibility (or ARRT within 6 months), and a technical diploma or associate degree in radiology.

PRN shifts include days and evenings, with occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.
• Preferred 1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI.

Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties necessary.

• Shift Hours: Variable
• Shift: Shift 4, Varies - days and evenings, open until 8pm
• Weekend Work: Occasional
