Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a medical field required.
• Formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved program required.
• ARRT certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews physician's order to assure examination appropriateness.
• Selects exposure factors based on body part, age, pathology, and equipment.
• Reviews images for positioning, technique and identification; ensures diagnostic quality.
