Role Overview: MRI Technologists operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, acquire and analyze imaging data, and assist licensed practitioners with imaging and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure proper patient identification and preparation, optimize imaging protocols, evaluate image quality, administer medications per regulations, educate staff and students, and apply safety principles to minimize risks. They assist with MRI procedures, select appropriate pulse sequences, and participate in MRI safety and implant investigations.

Qualifications & Skills: Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or equivalent required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment. Education includes a specialty training program in radiologic technology; a related bachelor's degree is preferred. Knowledge of MRI safety, technical protocols, and patient care is essential.
