K.A. Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Radiology (X-Ray) Technologist for a full-time, permanent position in Northern Missouri. The role emphasizes proper positioning, image labeling, and adherence to radiation safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures including basic X-ray, OR, and fluoroscopy.
• Ensure correct marking and labeling of films and patient safety.
• Maintain age-appropriate patient care and comfort during procedures.
• Participate in ongoing education and CEU compliance.

Job Description:

• Has good knowledge of positioning, technical factors, clinical information and correct marking and labeling of films.
• Ensures that radiation doses for patients remain within safeALARAlimits.
• Follows radiation safety best practices.
• Demonstrate skills and knowledge necessary to assess the age specific needs of the patients served, and provide appropriate care.
• Performsradiographicprocedures including but not limited to basicxray, Operating Room, andfluoroprocedures or is training to advance to CT or is an accomplished CT technologist.
• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and meets certification criteria forCEU's.
