Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of formal radiologic technology training from an AMA-approved school.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT certification; CT certification test for 3rd shift within 12 months; CPR certification.
• Work Experience: Ability to complete x-ray and CT exams for 3rd shift Rad Techs.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and assist Radiologists as required.
• Maintain patient, peer, and personal safety standards.
• Foster professional communication and maintain inter and intra-departmental relations.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring the conservation of supplies.

Job Overview

The Radiologic Technologist-Registered is responsible for performing radiographic procedures independently, applying ionizing radiation to produce diagnostic radiographs. This individual has graduated from a certified Radiologic training program and can provide patient care for individuals ranging from ages 0 to 105. Reporting directly to the Radiology Chief Technologist, the technologist demonstrates proficiency in executing a variety of technical procedures with independent judgment.

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and assist Radiologists as required.
