K.A. Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Radiology (X-Ray) Technologist for a full-time, permanent role in the Las Vegas, NV area.

The position requires ARRT certification, an Associate's degree in science, and a patient-centered approach to radiography. Day shift with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to advance technical skills. Responsibilities include proper positioning, handling of films, adherence to ALARA and radiation safety practices, and the potential to gain CT experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• Associate's Degree in Science (or higher).
• Experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Positioning, technical factors, clinical information and correct marking/labeling of films.
• Ensure radiation doses for patients remain within the ALARA limits.
• Follow radiation safety best practices.
• Assess age-specific needs of patients and provide appropriate care.
• Perform radiographic procedures including basic x-ray, operating room, and fluoroscopy; training to advance to CT.
• Engage in continuing education to meet CEU criteria.

• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and meets certification criteria forCEU's.
