Job summary

K.A. Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Radiology (X-Ray) Technologist for a full-time day shift in the Dallas, Texas area.

The role involves positioning, imaging, and labeling of films with careful attention to accuracy and patient comfort. You will ensure ALARA dose management, follow radiation safety practices, and support potential CT procedures or progression to CT technologist. Requires ARRT certification and an Associate's Degree in Science or higher.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• Associate's degree in science or higher is required.
• Experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Position, label, and image radiographs with correct labeling and alignment.
• Maintain ALARA-driven radiation doses and ensure patient safety.
• Follow radiation safety best practices and maintain quality controls.
• Assist with CT procedures or training toward CT technologist.
• Pursue CEU credits and professional development as required.

Job Description:

• Has good knowledge of positioning, technical factors, clinical information and correct marking and labeling of films.
• Ensures that radiation doses for patients remain within safeALARAlimits.
• Follows radiation safety best practices.
• Demonstrate skills and knowledge necessary to assess the age specific needs of the patients served, and provide appropriate care.
• Performsradiographicprocedures including but not limited to basicxray, Operating Room, andfluoroprocedures or is training to advance to CT or is an accomplished CT technologist.
• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and meets certification criteria forCEU's.

Job Requirements:
