Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform prescribed imaging procedures with independent judgment. The role includes positioning patients, analyzing results, and ensuring image quality while maintaining safety standards.

The position requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, ARRT certification within 6 months, and CPR. Background clearances (Act 34/33/73) are also required along with a valid radiology license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• ARRT Radiography certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPR certification required by American Heart Association.
• Background clearances: Act 34, Act 33, Act 73 required.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and perform imaging procedures with attention to image quality.
• Review patient history and orders; educate patient on procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media when ordered; monitor patient status.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; ensure exposure factors and safety standards; perform quality control as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
