Job summary

The Radiology Technologist position at Jefferson Health Northeast performs x-ray scans and delivers patient care before, during, and after diagnostic imaging procedures. You will operate radiologic equipment, ensure safety, and comply with applicable laws and regulations while coordinating with physicians and radiology staff.

This role requires ARRT certification (or eligibility), a specialized diploma, and knowledge of RIS/PACS.

Qualifications

• Specialized diploma required or ARRT certification/eligibility.
• Experience with RIS/PACS preferred.
• Knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Position radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain relevant history.
• Ensure radiation safety measures and use shields as appropriate.
• Maintain and test x-ray equipment and document results.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accurate RIS/PACS data.
