Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform x-ray scans and support clinicians in diagnosis. You will ensure quality imaging, patient care during procedures, and consultation with radiology staff while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires ARRT certification or current ARRT(R) validation, familiarity with RIS/PACS, and ongoing equipment and record maintenance. Rotating shifts and continuing education are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved program or ARRT in Radiology Technology.
• Current ARRT (R) certification, CT preferred.
• Knowledge of radiologic safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Position radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and obtain patient history for exams.
• Protect staff and patients following radiation safety standards.
• Maintain and update patient data and study information.
• Perform quality assurance on radiology equipment and RIS/PACS records.
• Complete continuing education to maintain licenses.
