Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time role at the Northeast Philadelphia location. You will assist radiologists by performing CT imaging and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The position requires ARRT certification and completion of an approved training program; 1–3 months of related experience is acceptable. You will prepare exams, enter data into the RIS, and coordinate with the radiology team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 months of experience and/or training required.
• Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
• ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and collects accurate patient history.
• Performs clinical diagnostic examinations including any necessary room preparation.
• Properly enters patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System.
• Under the direction of the Radiologist, operates CT equipment to produce CT images for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
