Job summary

Atrium Health Mercy is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams under the direction of a radiologist in a full-service hospital setting. You will verify patient identity, document history, and assist with contrast administration and positioning during procedures.

Applicants should be ARRT-recognized graduates, registry-eligible within one year, and CPR-certified, with strong communication skills and a focus on patient safety and quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program with CPR certification.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development for the patient population served.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations under radiologist supervision.
• Documents patient history on requisitions submitted by physicians.
• Confirms patient identity before procedures and verifies information.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologists and other physicians as needed.
• Selects and operates equipment per procedure requirements and ensures proper positioning.
• Maintains accurate records in accordance with departmental standards.
