Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. seeks a PRN Radiology Technologist to perform X-ray imaging across rotating weekends, nights and evenings in the Philadelphia area.

You will position equipment, explain procedures, protect patients with proper shielding, and ensure RIS/PACS data accuracy while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced clinical environment. Strong ARRT(R) certification and CPR are required; CT preferred; prior experience with radiology workflows and

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified radiologic technologist or ARRT registry in Radiology (R); CT preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Position radiographic equipment to produce images with required detail.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain relevant medical history.
• Protect patients by using shields/aprons and adhering to radiation safety standards.
• Maintain and calibrate radiologic equipment and document results.
• Ensure accurate patient records and RIS/PACS data for billing and imaging records.
• Perform other related duties and participate in quality assurance activities.
