The position emphasizes patient history assessment, ALARA practices, image quality, and collaboration with physicians and staff to deliver quality care. ARRT certification and state licensure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from ARRT-accredited program (preferred).
• ARRT certification and state licensure (preferred).
• CPR/BLS credentials (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and lab information for practitioner use.
• Positions patient to best demonstrate the area of interest.
• Applies ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Operates imaging equipment to perform procedures.
• Verifies informed consent and documents procedures.
• Assists licensed practitioners with fluoroscopy and radiography.
• Documents patient dose exposures and image quality.
• Interacts professionally with staff, physicians, and patients.
