Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under the supervision of an authorized user, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images. The role emphasizes radiation protection and accurate documentation.

Required ARRT certification, state licensure (preferred), and BLS; 1 year of radiology experience preferred. Schedule is 36 hours weekly, 7a-7:30p with Fri, Sat, Sun shifts, and a sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• State licensure (preferred)
• BLS Basic Life Support (required at hire)
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred)
• Experience with Radiology Information System (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and necessary labs.
• Positions and immobilizes patient for imaging.
• Minimizes radiation exposure through safety practices.
• Operates imaging equipment to perform procedures.
• Verifies consent and documents procedures.
• Assists licensed practitioners with radiographic procedures.
• Performs required timeouts and safety checks.
