Job summary

Responsibilities include patient preparation, positioning, DR/CR imaging, equipment maintenance, and reporting issues. ARRT-R and BLS are required; entry-level with 0–6 months experience and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program are preferred.

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
• Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms, assist with positioning.
• Explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety.
• Position patient for optimum views and align with physician requests.
• Operate radiology equipment according to protocols under supervision.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment inventories.
• Follow infection control protocols and radiation safety practices.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor or Radiology IS.
• Support department goals through compliance and process improvements.
