Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–6 months of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to department policies and protocols.
• Screen, prepare, and position patients for CT procedures based on diagnoses and body part.
• Maintain knowledge of all CT equipment and systems.
• Evaluate CT studies for quality and completeness.
• Utilize advanced image manipulations such as 3D rendering, reformations, and reconstruction.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients to reduce anxiety.
• Operate PACS and document examinations and charges accurately.
