Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System is seeking a PRN Radiology Tech in Tulsa, OK. You will operate radiographic equipment, calculate exposure factors, and evaluate images for diagnostic quality. Qualifications

• Technical or Associate’s radiography degree.
• Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment and other devices.
• Calculate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
• Assist radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive procedures.
• Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam.
• Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations and ensure patient/employee safety.
• Evaluate images for technical quality exposure and transmit them to PACS.
