Job summary

Excela Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a radiologist. The role involves producing diagnostic images, verifying orders, preparing patients, and ensuring accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.

The position requires on-site work, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. BLS/CPR may be required, with standard imaging department hours.

Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Program recognized by ARRT.
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking with sound judgment.
• Strong ability to communicate complex topics to a wide and diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Produce radiographs of various anatomical parts as directed by the radiologist.
• Attend on-site and maintain punctual attendance.
• Collect patient data and verify orders, prepare patients for imaging procedures.
• Set/adjust radiographic equipment and position patients for diagnostic images.
• Send images to PACS for radiologist interpretation and archive as needed.
