Job summary

MedHQ is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform competent diagnostic radiology exams and support physician review with high-quality imaging. The role requires collaboration with the health care team, preparation of imaging equipment, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include positioning, imaging documentation, sterile technique, HIPAA compliance, and assisting with invasive procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program; ARRT active
• CPR certification within six months of hire date and maintain certification
• One year radiology technologist experience preferred
• Successful completion of Radiation Safety standardized test

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with health care team to provide safe patient care during surgical experience
• Plan and prepare imaging equipment for proper views
• Readily respond to procedural course of events and prepare accordingly
• Perform radiology exams with proper placement, exposure, and documentation
• Assist physicians with invasive procedures requiring radiographic imaging
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique throughout direct patient care
• Protect patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA
