Job summary

Excela Health seeks a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography exams as directed by the radiologist. The role requires collecting patient data, confirming consent, and ensuring proper screening, preparation, and imaging parameters.

Responsibilities include administering contrast safely, reformatting images, communicating with departments, QC of CT equipment, and accurate documentation in RIS/PACS systems. Travel between Excela Health locations may occur.

Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by ARRT.
• Strong leadership, organization, independent and critical thinking, and sound judgment.
• Clear ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations per radiologist instructions.
• Verify patient identity and protocol prior to scanning.
• Administer contrast following guidelines and obtain consent when required.
• Review orders and prepare appropriate scanning parameters for accurate imaging.
• Document patient information and exam details in the medical record.
