Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiology program.
• ARRT national certification and state licensure if applicable.
• 1 year of clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines.
• Educates patients/families regarding procedure and risks; demonstrates professional behavior and teamwork.
• Produces high quality images and prepares them for interpretation with accurate documentation.
• Demonstrates competence in prescribed invasive/interventional procedures as applicable.
• Performs equipment quality control measures and maintains safety; troubleshoots as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional responsibilities related to radiology practice.
• Supports efficient department workflow and maintains inventory to avoid interruptions.
• Follows established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
