Job summary

Advocate Health Mercy, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center, seeks a Radiology Technologist in Charlotte, NC to perform radiographic exams under Radiologist direction at the Mercy site. Candidates must be ARRT-eligible and complete registry within one year, with BLS required.

Expect 40-hour weeks, Monday–Friday 7:00a–3:30p, with call/holiday rotation and a sign-on bonus eligibility. Strong patient-care and safety focus essential.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology education and registry eligibility.
• BLS certification is required.
• Commitment to patient safety and imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations under the Radiologist's direction.
• Coordinates daily activities including examinations and related clerical duties.
• Escort patients and manage transport and room orientation.
• Assist nursing and clinical staff with patient transfers as needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper registration and transport to departments.
