Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist for the Greensboro, NC area. The role performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensures patient safety, and collaborates with radiologists. ARRT eligibility and BLS are required, with registry completion within 1 year of hire.

Eligible candidates receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus ($10,000 for new graduates) and relocation assistance up to $5,000. This full-time position includes a 40-hour week with no holidays or weekends.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
