Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville Radiology is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the Radiologist and to coordinate daily workflow within the department.

This 40-hour-per-week role includes benefits and a sign-on bonus eligibility. Candidates must graduate from an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program, be registry eligible within one year of hire, and hold BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire; BLS required.
• Demonstrates ability to perform radiographic procedures and safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the Radiologist.
• Coordinates daily activities to include performing examinations and related clerical duties.
• Documents patient history and verifies patient identification prior to procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as needed.
