Qualifications

• Current MRT license or temporary license (TX).
• ARRT-R registration as Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiography (x-ray) exams on patients, ensuring safety and quality.
• Obtains vital signs, explains procedures, and positions patients appropriately.
• Administers IV and contrast when necessary, and selects imaging techniques.
• Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment.
• May assist with accreditation processes and incident reporting.
• Assists with patient registration tasks and may float to other locations.
• Follows safety policies to deliver compassionate, efficient patient care.
