Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiography exams for physician diagnoses and treatment. The role may involve more complex modalities and requires adherence to radiation safety and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, data entry, equipment QA, and potential weekend or float duties. Licensure and ARRT-R certification are required, along with BLS/ALS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) required.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ALS) required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) required.

Responsabilités

• Performs radiography (x-ray) exams on patients ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures; prepares patients, positions them, selects imaging techniques and ensures image quality.
• Enters and monitors patient data.
• Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment and may assist with accreditation applications as needed.
• Takes emergency call within the department; may work weekends and float to other locations as needed.
• May assist with patient registration tasks such as verifying insurance or collecting payments.
• Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to Memorial Hermann policies and standards within budgetary specifications.
• Promotes professional growth and act as a resource to less experienced staff.
• Demonstrates commitment to compassionate, personalized care in line with service standards.
