Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform x-ray examinations and support physicians in diagnosing patients. The role may involve assisting with more complex modalities as needed to ensure accurate imaging.

You will prepare patients, position them for exams, monitor equipment and safety, enter patient data, and participate in quality assurance. Weekend coverage and on-call may be required to support department needs and deliver timely, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT-R required.
• Basic or Advanced Life Support certification required.
• Ability to lift and maneuver patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiography exams on patients, adhering to radiation safety procedures.
• Prepares patients, obtains vital signs, positions for the exam, and selects imaging techniques.
• Enters and monitors patient data, and ensures image quality.
• May assist with accreditation processes and quality assurance on equipment.
• May require weekend work or floating to other locations.
