Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
• Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R), required.

Mansioni

• Performs radiography (x-ray) exams on patients ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures.
• Prepares patients for exam, records vital signs, explains procedure, positions patients and selects imaging techniques.
• Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment and may assist with accreditation processes.
• May be required to work weekends and float to other locations as needed.
• Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors and adheres to policies.
