AdventHealth in Overland Park, Kansas is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging exams across departments, including OR and Fluoroscopy, with emphasis on patient safety and quality imaging. The role requires knowledge of positioning, PPE, and radiation safety, along with strong communication with patients and staff.

The position offers day shifts, full-time hours, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus where allowed, with benefits starting Day One and opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• :Must follow infection control standards and PPE usage.
• :Maintains clean, stocked radiology room and accurate records.
• :Performs radiology procedures per protocol and safety guidelines.
• :Communicates with patients and family, and documents procedures.
• :Operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment safely and effectively.
• :Reads, writes and speaks conversational English.
• :Proficient with basic computer use and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintains infection control standards and PPE usage.
• Keeps a clean, stocked radiology room and completes patient records.
• Performs radiology procedures per protocol and documents steps.
• Monitors patient condition and ensures comfort, safety and privacy.
• Operates radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment safely.
• Explains procedures and obtains patient history.
• Screens for allergies and pregnancy as required.
