Job summary

AdventHealth in Lenexa, KS seeks a Full-Time Radiology Technologist for day shifts. Responsibilities include performing radiographic imaging, patient positioning, and safety practices to support accurate diagnoses.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered and there is emphasis on compliance with regulations and high-quality imaging. Requirements include ARRT RT certification, at least 1 year post-cert or new grad, ability to work with EMR/PACS, and strong communication with patients and team.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• Associate degree (Required/Preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) preferred/required
• CPR/BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients and staff
• Position and operate radiographic equipment to complete procedures
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and ensure equipment safety
• Document procedures in EMR/PACS accurately
• Cross-train into advanced modalities as needed
• Follow ALARA radiation safety principles
• Ensure correct patient demographics for imaging
• Maintain required licenses and continuing education
