Job summary

AdventHealth South Overland Park is hiring a Radiology Technologist-Surgery for full-time day shifts. You will perform radiographic imaging, position patients, and support surgical procedures with emphasis on patient safety and image quality.

Qualified candidates have ARRT credentials and 1+ year radiology experience, with strong communication and computer skills. This role requires accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R)(ARRT).
• 1+ year experience in radiology or new graduate in program.
• Post-certification experience to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff.
• Position and operate radiographic equipment to complete procedures safely.
• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient condition during procedures.
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure equipment safety checks.
• Follow radiation safety concepts to minimize exposure.
