Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join the Diagnostic Radiology team for the evening shift.

You will perform accurate diagnostic exams, follow radiation protection practices, and contribute to high-quality imaging. A JRCERT-accredited program and ARRT/BLS certifications are required, with training at student level and hire-on credentials.

Formación

• Graduates of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
• Training completed at student level is required.
• ARRT Registration as Radiologic Technologist (180 days) required on hire.
• ARRT Radiographer (R) certification required on hire.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required on hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform accurate diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology.
• Apply radiation protection principles and ensure quality images for interpretation.
• Support the department and provide clinical instruction as appropriate.

With 632 beds, Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Scope of work

Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Applies principles of radiation protection and complies with regulations. Assumes responsibility for designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate. Follows Corewell health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Required Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.

• Training gained at student level. Required

• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required

• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
