Job summary

CO00 Children's Hospital Medical Center in Greendale, Wisconsin, is seeking a dedicated professional to provide exceptional patient care. The role focuses on customer advocacy, effective communication, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

Job description

SHIFT: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 9am - 9:30pm

Job Responsibilities
  • Customer Service – Patient: Act as a customer advocate, strive to better meet the needs of patients and families, respond quickly to parent requests, provide education and information, and offer emotional support as needed.
  • Communication – Patient: Communicate with patients, families, and employees courteously, respond promptly to requests, provide information about admissions, referrals, transfers, and discharges.
  • Compliance: Understand and comply with applicable policies, guidelines, regulations, and accreditation standards; document compliance; maintain compliance with core standards and the code of ethics; ensure work areas are organized and safe.
  • Patient Care – Procedures and Exams: Prepare patients, parents, and families for procedures and examinations; conduct procedures following protocol; facilitate the exchange of patient information.
  • Professional Development: Maintain current licensure and certification, attend continuing education, conferences, and mandatory training; apply knowledge to work and seek professional growth.
  • Support the Radiology Department and other hospital departments to facilitate coordinated patient care for infants, children, adolescents, and those with childhood conditions.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or Equivalent; preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 0+ years of related work experience.
  • Registered ARRT (R) or Eligible Registered ARRT (R) within 6 months of hire.
  • Licensed by the Ohio Department of Health within 30 days of eligibility.
