Job summary
Novant Health in King, North Carolina is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join the Family Medicine team on a full-time basis. You will prepare patients, operate x-ray equipment, and assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with strict adherence to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
The role requires ARRT certification within 6 months of hire, and a preferred 2-year associate degree.
Qualifications
- Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program and certification within 6 months of hire.
- 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred.
- Certification required within 6 months post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and operate x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
- Assist physicians in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
- Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
