Job summary

Atrium Health in North Carolina is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with supervision under the Radiologist. The role includes patient history documentation, verification of patient identity, and coordination of daily imaging activities.

Qualified candidates are ARRT-recognized radiologic technology graduates who are registry-eligible within 1 year of hire and hold BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to the procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by the procedure and demonstrates positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
